Writing Tutors: The writing tutors that we employ for the ACIC are trained peer tutors who have worked in the past tutoring privately, teaching English composition classes, or working with the Emory Writing Center. Tutors are trained to do more than edit or proofread an essay; they work closely with the student to revise and construct the best application essay possible! Each tutor undergoes separate training in order to be sensitive to the particular demands of the international college application essay.
